Neal Doshi

Managing Director

Neal Doshi is a Managing Partner at M3 Capital Partners. He is a proven entrepreneur with extensive knowledge in strategy, operation, and business development. He has over 15 years of experience in a myriad of industries including healthcare, information technology, automotive manufacturing, and commercial real estate. With global work experience in the US, Mexico, China, and Europe, Neal has developed strong, yet flexible leadership skills newly impacted by his recent completion of his MBA at Duke University’s The Fuqua School of Business. Corp! Magazine named him a “Most Valuable Professional” in 2015.

Neal’s firm, M3 Capital Partners, has completed over $180 million worth of lower middle market focused private equity transactions in both operations and commercial real estate. Neal sits on the board of IT as well as food and beverage firm. Last year, M3 worked with Peninsula Capital Partners to close a food and beverage deal located in Wisconsin servicing north of 4,000 convenience stores. In 2021, M3 closed a deal in the Southwest US focused dental practice servicing the Medicaid population. In 2019, M3 was able to work with its capital providers to close a managed IT services deal that recently exited.

Prior to M3 , Neal was former managing partner of Complete Data Products (CDP), a fintech company, Neal was driven to create strategies and provide solutions to problems he hasn’t encountered yet. Doshi saw mountains of paper…and a huge lack of security. He immediately started looking into the role technology could play in managing those two specific problems. With his mind on the numbers, he knew that storing all that paper and keeping it “safe” from data breaches and natural disasters was not costeffective. In response, CDP added e-receipts and email encryption to the roster of products they offered and began adding staff to work with the new technology and new clients. During his tenure at CDP, Neal developed a national seller channel with over 20 VARs in three years, affiliations with large Credit Union organizations throughout the US and Caribbean, and an internal sales team focused on diversifying CDP’s clientele. Over the three plus years at CDP, Neal increased recurring revenue by over 20%. Currently, he serves a Board position for the CDP.

Prior to running CDP, Neal worked within family businesses to both grow the top and bottom line of the firm. To that end, Neal developed a niche IT staffing focused on the utilities industry. Within 18 months, the Doshi Family Staffing organization was the fourth largest IT staffing firm for Detroit Edison. Overall, the staffing firm was running at greater than $500,000 monthly run rate with margins hovering between 14-17%.

Before coming home to assist in the family businesses, Neal worked in Shanghai, China as Director of Operations for the Shanghai plant for a Tier Two automotive supplier which was part of the Prettl family of companies. Starting with one shift working eight hours day, Neal was able to grow the plant to working three full shifts per day five days a week with a half day Saturday in less than 20 months. Sales went from $2,000,000 to over $16,000,000. In addition to managing the $50,000,000 P&L for the entire oxygen sensor wire harness business division, Neal worked on implementing Lean Manufacturing principles for the Shanghai operation.

Neal started his career as a healthcare strategy consultant. His responsibilities included C-level evaluations, business plans, and operational efficiency projects for over 40 hospitals throughout North America and England. One of his assignments he was tagged with was developing a five-year business and strategic plan for HCA Tulane Hospital right after Hurricane Katrina had ravaged the city and reduced the population by greater than 75%.

Doshi dedicates time to helping others as well, using his skills as a strategist to work with various for-profit and not-for-profit boards in developing strategic plans. Neal resides in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan with his wife and three children.
